I’m Pip, a 22 year old journalist who, by some miracle, has managed to keep a food blog going for the past two years. It was one averagely boring morning in my second year uni room that I decided it was time to do something other than sleep in, read, sit in the local Whetherspoons and attend the one lecture scheduled in my week. I’ve harboured a love of cooking from the age of about 16, and since uni this had grown into a fully fledged obsession (apologies to my housemates, who had to put up with their cupboards groaning with things like pomegranate molasses, umami paste and several different types of flour). It therefore seemed like a logical decision to merge my love of cooking and writing into one kind-of-food-related, kind-of-just-me-rambling, overly verbose nugget of internet space.
All of my recipes are adaptations of other recipes from my favourite sites and blogs, or products of some experimenting with things lying around in my fridge. Read, enjoy, ignore, skip to the recipe bit, cook, do whatever you please (I don’t mean that, please read it because I had to learn how WordPress works and I’m rubbish with computers normally).
