I’m Pip, a 21 year old English and Drama student turned food blogger from Exeter uni. The life of an English student is one of reading endlessly, writing long rambling essays and occasionally, if you’re lucky, attending a lecture or two (unless they’re before 10am in which case sod that). It was one averagely boring morning in my second year uni room that I decided it was time to do something mildly interesting with my life. I’ve harboured a love of cooking from the age of about 16, and since uni this had grown into a fully fledged obsession (apologies to my housemates, who had to put up with their cupboards groaning with things like pomegranate molasses, umami paste and several different types of flour). It therefore seemed like a logical decision to merge my love of cooking and writing into one kind-of-food-related, kind-of-just-me-rambling, overly verbose nugget of internet space.
All of my recipes are adaptations of other recipes from my favourite sites and blogs, or products of some experimenting with things lying around in my fridge. Read, enjoy, ignore, skip to the recipe bit, cook, do whatever you please (I don’t mean that, please read it because I had to learn how WordPress works and I’m rubbish with computers normally).
